Today I used a scrub brush, dishsoap and water and scrubbed about 1 million…ok maybe 100 pots. Rinsed them, then soaked them for a few minutes in an organic potassium soap solution and final rinse to kill any fungus on them. This helps to prevent problems in the greenhouse when I’m starting plants. It was a job, but it had to be done and I’m glad to be done for now!
This is a process I haven’t done before, but because we are working on transitionioning to organic and developing our plan, it needs to be done. Every time. The hardest ones were my little silicon starters. They were a bit of a pain to scrub out. They are GREAT for planting, not so great to clean.
