
Planted over 50 buttercrunch starts this week, I can’t wait for them to be ready to harvest! Checked on them today and they look like almost all of them have survived transplant and are thriving. I’m planting more tomorrow, and some red and green salad bowl. Started more seeds in the greenhouse, to attempt to get better at succession planting so that I have lettuce all year round. 🙂
I’ve been really impressed with this variety, it tastes good, grows well and makes beautiful heads with leaves the perfect size for burgers if you eat them.
