Today I am in the front yard planting three flats of shallots. I had many more than I thought, as many of the plants had more than one. I got 2 40′ rows planted, somewhere between 150 – 200+ plants! I love shallots, and this is my first year growing them so I am excited to see how they do. The shade I have on this bed shades the brutal southern side 50% with burlap. Now it is a 110 day+ waiting game to see how they do.
