One of the things I do is take all of my trimmings, weeds, veggies that just aren’t worth selling or eating and ride my 3 wheeled bike down the street and donate everything to Jennifer the bird lady who rescued all the peacocks and hens from Bonnie Springs Ranch when it closed. They all know now that I bring treats, and this lovely lady posed for me on the trash bin, hoping I’d give her something. So I gave her a green cherry tomato that got accidently picked (they don’t seem to ripen off the vine) and watch her gobble it whole. I love being able to help her animals out.
