I am the Ginny of G&G Veggies. This is my one pound beet I harvested. I grew up with a mom that always had a garden that we grew veggies, canned and froze veggies for the coming winter.
When I first moved to Pahrump in 2004, I bought a greenhouse and grew veggies. I was self employed and home alot so I could maintain it. Then work out of the home happened, and I set gardening aside.
In the fall of 2024, I started prepping to start back up again, and started plants in the greenhouse and planted. I am now retired, unfortunately sooner than I wanted as I have a disability that takes me down hard suddenly and I am unable to work because of it. Because of the reduction in income, I wanted us to start saving money growing a lot of our own food.
I talked about what I was growing when I went to the farmer’s market to suplement, and was encouraged to get a producer license and sell what we don’t eat.
In June, G&G Veggies was formed and we began selling extra veggies at the Pahrump farmer’s market. I currently am trying to expand my crops so we can sell more as I believe in providing good produce for the community.

Currently we are in the process of transitioning to organic. What does this mean? We follow all organic practices by starting with all Non-GMO seeds from excellent sources. We believe in building the soil and creating healthy plants and gardening practices and use no harmful synthetic pesticides or fertalizers on our plants. We use natural practices for pest and weed control.
Our goal is to bring our customers in Pahrump the tastiest natural veggies we can produce.
So I hope you enjoy our veggies. I put a little bit of love in everything I grow with lots of tender care.
